Dr. Theresa Montaño is professor in the Chicana and Chicano Studies Department of California State University Northridge, the largest department of its kind in the United States. Her research interests focus on Latino Educational Equity; Critical Multicultural Education; Bilingual/ELL education; and Teacher education.  Other affiliations: CTA Board Member, District Q-Higher Ed President, National Council for Higher Education (NEA).
